The Great CON MAN

The great Pony-tailed self proclaimed Management Guru does it again. The father son Choudhary duo are once again at their disgusting best to malign the IIMs(And IITs as well imagine that Huh!). The most noticable thing about the advertisements of IIPM this time is that it sure has grown. Starting from the humble begining of half a page Ad of "Dare to think beyond IIMs!" in supplements, the Ads have grown to 3 full pages in the main paper(TOI). LONG LIVE TOI!! LONG LIVE iipm!!
The most intriguing (hilarious actually) part of the advertisement was the article written by the ponytailed person(Damn! forgot his name again :D ) comparing the selection procedure of the IIMs and IIPM on the basis of toughness criteria. I really loved the easier_the_better selection criteria.
Basic message that the Ad tried to convey was that all the education in the world (specially from the IIM and IIT group of institutions) would not help people become the world class Business Leaders(or ConMen?) because their selection criteria emphasizes on IQ and not EQ.
The much harped upon industry interface, I believe would be PlanMan(or ConMan?) consultants coming to IIPM giving some really nice global gyan. By the way for the uninitiated PlanMan is the sister arm of IIPM.
One of the other thing that intrigues me is "Who the hell reads Business Barons and who publishes it?" I tried searching for its publisher on the net on a powerful tool called GOOGLE but was not successful. I believe its one of the highly classified magazines meant only for the eyes of hapless IIPM students.
In the end I would like to compare IIPM to the Orwel novel 1984 where all the students are simulated to live-eat-go_abroad-do_crap_etc happily and only few "DARE TO THINK BEYOND THE PONYTAIL"

Having written this I am really scared to get a notarized mail from the legal cell of IIPM(yes they do have one) and to be thrown out of my company.
But Alas they would not be able to throw a Gaurav Sabnis on me since my company does not has any link what so ever with IIPM (take that you IBM_notebook_burners)
By the way did you know the IIM intitutions are the MBA mafia (lolz!) who terrorize people by sending threatening emails .
